The steps below outline our typical website design process. Just like all things custom, the process for your custom web design project may vary slightly.

    2. We arrange a meeting in-person or via conference call if you prefer to determine the goals of your website. Brainstorming ideas is a key part of this meeting to accomplish those goals.

  2. Project Proposal

    3. The proposal document is presented and we openly request feedback for any necessary revisions. It's important that it perfectly explains the goals of the website project so that we can all start on the same page.

  3. Design Interview

    4. It's time to discuss specific design parameters such as page elements, existing branding, inspirational websites and the website navigation.

  4. Design Production and Revisions

    5. Our creative team drafts some original concepts for the design of your website based on your direction during the design interview. We continue to make revisions until you are 100% comfortable with the design direction. We keep designing until you are in love with your new website.

  5. Development and Programming

    6. With the plan firmly in place we can put our nose to the grindstone and begin programming your new website. This is always done on a separate development server and is provided to you at no charge by Walden Websites. You'll begin to see your new design take shape and we'll also get the architecture for the content management system in pace during this time.

  6. Proofing and Revisions

    7. At this point there is a tangible website for you to review and suggest revisions. This is the last opportunity we have to make changes so it's imperative that we make revisions until you are 100% happy with your new website. This is also the point of the process where we begin to flow the copy into your website and it really begins to resemble a finished product.

  7. Site Launch

    8. We've coordinated the technical details such as production web hosting and DNS changes. It's time to launch the website and perform a final round of testing in the new server environment.

  8. Post Launch Review

    9. Our top concern is your satisfaction with our service and your new website. We iron out any remaining wrinkles in the project and embark on any SEO or electronic marketing initiatives at this point.

At the end of the process you will have a website that you're proud to call your own. The original goals we set out to accomplish will be met at or above your expectations.
